Snowpine Lodge is hiring for the 2008/2009 ski season!

Live right at the top of the Big Grizzly Tow on the slopes of Alta. We look for applicants who are hard working, self-motivated and enthusiastic. Our primay goal is to make our guests feel comfortable, welcome and happy. It is through our staff that we achieve this goal.

We are looking to fill the following positions:

• Line Cooks

  • Prepare breakfast and 4 course dinner for up to 50 guests including any special dietary needs and children's meals

  • Prepare employee meals daily

• Waitstaff
  • Serve breakfast and 4 course dinner to up to50 guests
  • Breakfast is table service with a daily hot special. Dinner consists of 4 courses; soup, salad, entree and dessert; daily set menu rotates weekly
  • Our staff must posess knowedge of food and wine and previous serving experience is required
• Front Desk Attendant
  • Reservations
  • Guest service and relations
  • Some bartending (must be over 21 yeard old)
  • General local information
  • Previous experience helpful but not required
  • Outgoing, hard working multitasker with proven ability as a self-starter
• Dishwasher/Laundry Attendant
  • Wash dishes for breakfasand dinner service, as well as employee meals
  • Launder Lodge linens for housekeeping, sheets and towels
  • Perform general labor tasks; wood stacking, recycling etc.

Our staff lives right at Snowpine. These are full time positions. We encourage our employees to committ to a full season (mid November to early April). Salaries are based on experience and INCLUDE room and board. Since we don't serve lunch, you can enjoy the best ammount of ski time available of any lodge at Alta.
